Your team captain and one other team representative must be present at the Captain’s Meeting on the day your age division is scheduled to practice. There is a limit of TWO (2) captains/representatives per team at the Captain’s meetings. The Captain’s Meetings will take place based on the following schedule:

Failure to attend the Captain’s Meeting may result in disqualification. Directions to the Softball Captain’s Meeting at each location may be picked up at the corresponding Sports Desk at KEC after you pick up your Credentials. Teams may only reserve practice times after checking in at the Softball Sports Information Desk. Practice times will be assigned based on a first-come, first-served basis. For softball competition updates, schedules and weather information during the Games for Fort Knox Kilianski Sports Complex, and E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park, please call 502-553-7142.
Please note that 2006 Rules of the Softball Players Association will be enforced during the 2007 Senior Games. Regarding bat legality, the SPA list of illegal bats at the time of competition will be used. For a current list of illegal bats, go to www.spasoftball.com, click on rules, and scroll down to Page 3 of Equipment Rules.
Please Note: To enter Fort Knox Kilianski Sports Complex, everyone over 16 years of age must be in possession of a valid and current picture ID issued by a government agency (Driver's License or Passport). 100% identification checks are in place. All motor vehicles must be properly registered and insured. Frequent checks of these documents are conductd by security with zero tolerance. No alcohol, drugs, or guns are permitted on Fort Knox property. If found,items will be taken and person(s) will be escorted off the base. Fort Knox has heavy traffic from 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM, so allow for sufficient driving time. Please park in designated areas only. Only hands-free cell phones are approved while driving or you risk a $75 fine. You will not be able to purchase gasoline on the base.
Fort Knox only allows pop-up tents on their property. No other type of staked tents will be allowed.
Schedule: The following is an updated Tentative Schedule for the Softball Competition. Due to changes that could occur between now and the 2007 National Senior Games, the NSGA reserves the right to make any necessary changes to these schedules. All final schedules can be picked up at the Sports Information Desk within the AstraZeneca Athlete Village upon checking in.
